What's Going On at IMCF....

Open Games Registration & Judges. We're up to 19 registered competitors...what are you waiting for?  Doesn't matter what your goal is -- to qualify for Regionals, improve on last year's performance, engage in friendly competition with your friends, or just complete the 5 WODs as Rx -- competing will call forth your best effort.  Lots of thoughts out there on why you ought to give it a go, here's just one perspective.  Sign up, join the team, and enjoy the ride.

Feb On-Ramp.  Mark it on your calendar -- next one is right around the corner on Sat, 22 Feb 14 from 0830-1230.  Pass the word to ILE 14-02!

Programming Workgroup.  Next session is on Tuesday, 4 Feb 14 at 1130-1300, 12th Brick Grill. Focus is critical thought on why and how we design our programming the way we do. Primary participants are our L1 programming team, but others interested in learning are very welcome.

USAW Junior Nationals. Last -- Elizabeth passes on that we have a few local ladies competing at the USA Weightlifting Junior Nationals event this weekend in Aurora, CO.   If you want more info or to to tune in to a live stream, check out this portal. I believe they may have lifted today (Friday) though...
  1. Nicole Tennant from Leavenworth High lifting for Pioneers LVN high school team. You might remember Nicole from the IMCF competition when she destroyed the "RX clean ladder." She is registered for the CF Open and on the IMCF team.
  2. Olivia Perez is from Patton Junior High and lifts for Team Boris in KC. She holds the national record in Snatch and will break the record in Clean and Jerk Saturday. She is on the USAW National team and competed at World competition in Russia last year.
  3. Also, Anna Martin's team Advantage will be competing. She works with the boys and girls clubs in KC. She owns her own gym "O-Lifting Advantage" in KC.
