Deadlift work to 1 Rep Max: Focus lumbar extension, neutral spine, drive hips back and down  upon return

Negative HSPU max reps in 10 min (See Videos)

After a week of sustained "combat" against the 2CR, it was good to WOD again.

DL, 365, 385, 415, 415, 435 (F) (at 240 BW) with hook grip that prevents me from cheating as much.
Then steve and I worked on maintaining an inverted position next to the wall, not quite at HSPUs or negatives, for about 10-15 minutes. was able to do about 4-5 negatives, but not very pretty.

Was taking it easy, got that Iron Major Competition on Thursday. Put up 360lbs then worked on Laces to Bar technique and crab walk.

DL to 365. The (little) stars told me it was time to quit.

HSPU negs on the parallettes, somewhere around 35-40 reps. Toward the end, sets of 3 were a challenge. Felt like I was gong to piledrive myself into the ground. Light MU work to finish up.

305 on the DL. Failed twice at 315. Worked HS in lieu of HSPUs and then backfips. Almost there.

IMCF SD Detachment

DL worked reps from 225,285, 315, 365, 385, 405, 425(f), 425 PR (old one was 415 on 29 June if my records search was correct). Did not even attempt higher than 425, 3 days of driving in a 15 pax van had me tight to begin with..

Negatives on HSPU 44 reps. Started -was able to do 10 then had to break it up a set of 5, then was working to do sets of 2 and 3, smoked...

Stopped after getting 345. Might be able to get another 30 lbs or so up if I were to push it, but today wasn't that day.

HSPU negatives for 10 min - didn't track the total reps, just focused on good form.

Great job Ross on the PR, and all others putting up some impressive weight!

Worked 225x5, 275x3, 295x1, 315x1, 335x1, 345x1, 355x1

Didn't go to failure since my form at 355 didn't feel completely accurate, I didn't want to hurt myself just because Rob was lifting the rest of the gym over on the other side.
