Clean & Jerk

Clean and Jerk
7x1 (or 7 sets of 1)
Work up to that 1 rep max C&J!!!

Scaling:
If you've never done the Clean and Jerk, this is a great opportunity to practice.  Do not be concerned with the weight as much as form.  See the video and check out the Olympic Weightlifting videos London 2012.  If form is bad, weight does not make it better.  Start off with a pole or broom stick and get heavier after you develop proficiency.

Probably could have gone to at least 225, but at 215, I wasn't getting as deep as I wanted on the squat in the clean so I stayed there and tried to work on, second set at 215 was my best of the three.

IMCF Hohenfels:

Warm-up/skill work:
Clean and Jerk
10-10-8-8 @ 115/115/135/135

Then:
155/165/175/185/185/185/185

May have been able to get 195, but would not have been able to "catch" and return to the floor. "Hardest" phase of the lift is returning the steel to the floor without dropping it.
