Did 12.5 this afternoon with Greg E., Elizabeth, LTC Mac, Scott, and Doug. Also met Nathan who is TDY from Ft Bragg and WoDs with Dave Hudson at Red Point CF).
112 reps with Greg E. as L1. That +12 from last year and right near my goal.
Thanks for the coaching and encouragement. Bring it strong on Sunday and don't forget to post your score by 1900!

Name is Nathan Galbreath. I'm from RedPoint Crossfit by Ft. Bragg, NC. I completed WOD 12.5 friday, at Iron Major Crossfit, and received a rep count of 64. Goal was 90...have some work to do. Mr. Greg E. was my judge. I am going to list IMCF as the affiliate when I post the workout on the website, if you could validate my score, please. Thank you for your support! Always a pleasure to visit a new CF Gym.

I will be in on Sunday to WOD and grade. Still trying to actually touch my chest to the bar...should be interesting!

Anyone else going to have kids with them tomorrow? I might need to bring mine...

I did 12.5 at Harrisonburg Crossfit in VA on Thurs and after seeing the other scores from IMCF I am frustrated and wishing I was going to be back in town tomorrow to do it there. I had at least 15 no reps in round 9 because we had to hit the bar at chest level not just at the top of the collar bone. I gave it my all and managed to tear my hands again because I'm too stubborn to stop. Oh well...a whopping 38.

James or Meg-
Do you need me to come grade on Sunday?

Erin Anderson said...

Meg, I don't have little ones but your kids can hang with me if they want to during the wod.

Mark Monroe - Nice work, you are ranked #11 this morning if I am reading it correctly!

Meg, Wade and I might have to have the munchkins with us today too. AF Steve, way to represent - awesome score!

Tiffany, sorry the standards were so different at the VA gym - thats super frustrating to do all that work and not get credit for it.

71 reps from Graf. Not a good idea to do 12.4 only two days before 12.5 , oh well.

Ross said...

IMCF-Graf. Did 12.5 with Noah grading me. 77 for a score.

Completed 34, thank you Elizabeth LV1 & Stewart for letting us use the AO & John (hubby for timing me so we can make your plane this afternoon). I wasn't sure how I would do since I just started PU w/o bands. Figured out the kick-swing thing too far into the WOD.. lost about 5 for being below the bar. This is a new GOAT.. I will play w/, LOL!

71 reps, that is 35 more reps than last year. I am really happy about that.

Thanks for the push James!!

Thanks Erin! Looks like I'll be out of the top 20 by a few slots this year. Thanks to all who supported this year.

great bunch this afternoon!

64. Graded by L1 Kevin. Probably had 4-9 nogo pullups, but I've never trained them, so pretty happy with what I got. Kstarrs video was the schnizzle as they say. Tried most to keep shoulder torsion in the front rack so legs would do most of the work and arms would just have to pop at the end. Kevin said I was locking out my arms before my knees on a few, though. Room for improvement. Seems kinda anti-climactic to be done. When does coach hand out the participation trophies? What would those look like? Probably use basketball trophies given 12.4 wallballs.

Matt B. said...

Greg that's quite an improvement! Awesome.
