I am really bad at drinking beer (16 ounce curls)...so I will try that. Hey you programmed this discretion into the WOD, so don't blame me:)

If anyone is ordering an Rx Jump Rope on www.rxjumpropes.com, I used a coupon code during checkout called "WODTALK" and got 10% off :)

I did yesterday's workout, which also qualified as something I'm not very good at.

Is there a possiblity to get another strength clinic in the spring? I could really use the instruction.

Had no friends to play sports with (Leavenworth is a ghost town right now) so I did the Annie workout I missed while I was skiing. 8:47.

Has anyone ever done the body pump class at Gruber? There is one at 0915, think I'll give it a try for something different. If its a bust I'll shoot some hoops :)

Watched some Pose technique vids last night and practiced over lunch. Definitely a funny feeling, but neat when it comes together and gravity kicks in. Then went to Gruber for a few minutes of handstand practice. Got a few seconds where I was totally supported/balanced on my hands (vice the wall), but only after I remembered to "get tight" in the hollow position. Fired up!

Anytime! They will be posting the 1st and 3rd workouts on January 14th which will give us enough time to figure out our goats within them and iron out some wrinkles. (hopefully no MU, burpees, or HSPU)

If you have ever read Gary Taubes' or Barry Sears' books, they promote eating plans that are significantly different than the conventional wisdom for eating in America. Then, every once and awhile you catch a glimpse that the establishment may be catching on to the ideas they (and others) have been pitching. Below is an article in the LA Times about another study that continues to chip away at the standard American diet and its advocates in gov't.

45 minutes of Body Pump @ Gruber...not my idea of a good time, but I was sweating. I also went to the bubble afterwards and did 30 minutes of random work (20 TTB, 20 14#WB, 20 HS, 20 24" box jumps, 20 burps, 10 ghd, 10 back ext and an 800m run). Now I feel better.

Greg E & Jacob - I signed up for the A4A competition next month too. I talked to Chandra who is in charge and she said it's open to all athletes of all skill levels. Hopefully we can get a good group together from IMCF. I have a flyer I will post on the board at the bubble tomorrow.
