Worked on DU (strung 25 together at one point) and the 'skin the cat' shoulder mobility on the rings - it was not very graceful but did help with range of motion.

Getting the weight moving was tough. Had to really focus on not pulling my legs into the lift and making it a push press.

Previous press PR was 155 - banner day today.

Also took AF Steve's advice and did some heavy squats (heavy being relative) afterward - 205x3, and 2 sets of 225x2. Focused on full ROM; they were sexy.

Not happy with today...I couldn't get past 120. I really worked on staying tight during the press and not arching my back....amazing how much trying to do it right takes away how much you can lift! I don't have the lower back pain that I normally do after presses, so I guess that's good.

Rich, I'm with ya brother. Arching the back is a problem with me too. Not to mention my shoulder to overhead has never been great to begin with. No back pain today as I tried to focus on neutral spine from top to bottom. I can almost here KStar in my ear on each rep, "belly tight, squeeze your butt..."
