Dome on Saturdays update:
The dome has the highest consumption of energy on post. I am tying to get heat on for the work outs, but some say it is to hot or to cold... I am in the process of getting a memo to Mr Lewis ref usage, dates... Holidays comming up cut down on people using the gyms in general. I may have to have a certified instructor at the saturday work outs. Not sure if that defeats the purpose of saturdays. I was thinking you can do the WOD you missed, a new WOD or work on Kipping P/Us... More to follow. Let me know anyons thoughts so we get what we want.
Thanks
Rich

If a certified instructor on site is the issues, I don't think it would be too much of a problem if we are talking about a 4 hour block of time. Volunteers for the fundamentals course is usually pretty good. With the number of L1 instructors out there right now I would bet most would volunteer a saturday here or there to do it, I know I would. If no one can volunteer for a prticular saturday then it could just stay closed that day. We could schedule it out so that the gym gods have visability on what days to be open and which ones not to be. Some flexability would be better than none in my book. This might be a much bigger problem in the summer when everyone leaves but then demand will go down too. Just my two cents.

Brian
Thanks for the input. I think we can make this work. If we can get crossfiters to use the ICE comments to request a saturday session this will help.
Thanks

Rich,
I concur with Brian. With the Lvl 1 folks that just completed the course covering Saturdays on a rotating basis shouldn't be an issue.
I think volunteering to work a couple Saturdays for 2-4 hrs is part of the return on investment for the Lvl 1 scholarships.

No issues covering Saturdays here and there, shouldn't be a big problem to schedule.

Concur with Brian and Mike. If we can't get a single L1 in the gym on a given Saturday, well, that would be sad. We're way better than that.

I'm stoked about the IMCF games but bummed that I will be in San Diego from 2-15 Dec. If you have to move it to 16 Dec for any reason than I am in. Have fun boys and girls.

Rich (non-Martin),

I would encourage you to work through Helen Lochow vice Leonard Lewis. She is in charge of the Harney complex and has been more responsive to our requests lately.

If "they" are complaining about the HVAC bill, maybe they should put us back into the basketball court and put some other event out in the bubble! They kicked us out and yet we pay the price?!

Noah - you're bummed that you'll be in San Diego? C'mon!
