111011 THURSDAY

All,

Friday we will be conducting a Hero WOD for Warriors for Action. The "Bubble" will not open until 0800 due to Holiday hours.

Update on Shirts for 11/11//11

If you ordered 11/11/11 WOD T-shirts they are in and  they look pretty frickin nice.  We do have extras in all sizes if someone didn't get the chance to order.  They are $20 cash or check...checks need to be made out to Lance O'Bryan. Lance will be in be at 0515 tomorrow and hang until 0645 at the latest.  Lance will be out of town after Thursday, so anyone that doesn't get theirs needs to coordinate with him NLT than the morning WOD on 15 NOV so I can get payment sent to Team Red White and Blue.

WOD:

Three Rounds for time

10 Hang power cleans @ 135/95
Bear Crawl length of gym and back (200ft)

Lance,

I am TDY but will be at the bubble Friday for the WOD- is there another designee I can pass my money to at that time? I'll be back to normal morning workouts 21NOV11

Lance,

I'm in for a size 'L' if there's still an extra. Must have missed the signup last week while on TDY.

Thanks,
Ed

I don't remember the bubble being 100m long; did 200m outdoors on this cold, wet, Bavarian morn'.

It looks like I'm pushing my 11-11-11 WOD until Monday b/c of the timeline. If anybody else needs to push until Monday, let me know and we can meet to WOD.

Some good discussion in the bubble this morning about what a "proper" bear crawl should look like. I've never seen a standard don't know if there really is one other than have four points of contact.

5:56 . . . my bear skills are nothing like Brian's.

See folks tomorrow morning at 8.

Lance- I spoke to my husband and if there is an extra L I will pay for that in addition to the shirt I already ordered.

the bubble was longer today than I remember it...

Lance - Jay would like an XL shirt please.

For those that were not able to get their t-shirts this morning, Greg has them and you can pick up tomorrow. The only excess left is 2xS and 2xM.

As Rx'd...5:10. I agree with Brian, standards for bear crawl are dubious. It's almost like the comparison between a strict and kipping pull-up. I would define my bear crawls as "kipping" bear crawls.

I definitely have a new appreciation for bears.

6:06 @ 115.

As an Alaskan resident I concur with Brian's statement. No two bears run alike other than 4 points of contact.

I was more polar bear crawling. Slow and methodical.

Lance and Brian's bears look curiously like some baboons I've seen on NatGeo. I hate to admit it, but I'm jealous of their quick and nimble "baboon bear" crawls. I also am more polar bear-like.

Tiffany, Bridget and I are doing the 11/11/11 wod at 2:30 tomorrow. If anyone can't make it at 8 you are welcome to join us.

Lance,

If there are anymore of the t-shirts I would like 1 more, M or L is good!

Thanks!
