Awesome job this weekend. It was nice to see all the families out there on the field.

See many of you in the morning.

We had a great time at the IMCF Games this weekend, and the weather really cooperated! It was wonderful meeting everyone's beautiful families. This should definitely be an annual event.

I have 2 adult medium t-shirts remaining from the CF Games; I ordered them for Cat Larose, but I couldn't figure out who that was. So, first come, first served on the t-shirts (or someone let me know if Cat wants the shirts). They are $7 each.

James,
I sent you the WODs yesterday early afternoon???

Deadlifts and a mini-metcon....

Great job by the team making the games happen. Wish we could have stayed longer, but we had a birthday party for my older son that afternoon. Totally great event that reenforced fitness for my younger son. We only got in one WOD in, but the impact was huge. He has yet to stop taking about it. If you saw him asking Dave question during the WODs description, you know what I am talking about.

Agree that if at all possible, the games should become an annual event. Thanks for the support. IMCF rocks!

James is too humble to admit that he was a huge part of IMCF Games this weekend. He had the original idea and also put much time, effort, energy into making it a great event. Thanks James.

Jamie - sorry not seen on AKO - you could try resending to j.davis@inbox.com

Sorry I left Rett off the list of thankyous for the weekend.

Kay - I will pass a message to Cat.

Ok,
James, I am sure you are on your way to bed, but I resent the program to the correct e-mail. See my message for the brief explanation of my ineptness.

17:52. This was a great WOD, my first time doing Annie, she is OK in my book.

Thanks to all that helped put on a great event this past weekend. James had a huge part and as Rob said, it was his idea that began this whole invention of the IMCF games. I look forward to next years already.

I have to do the wod this afternoon... How many calories do I row for?

Dave Hudson said...

Rett - Pics look great. I've only got a few from different angles, etc. I'll be working on posting those and sharing the link today.

T-Shirt news: The new IMCF T-shirts SHOULD be in this week. At that point, we will know the exact price for each (which should be around $17). I will bring all of the pre-ordered shirts to the Bubble. You'll be able to give me a check (preferred) or cash for the shirt(s) you ordered.

Each round you row for 21 cal, then 15 cal, and finally 9 calories. Good luck!!

Gary said...

21:21 with shuttle runs (10 meters at 21-15-9) subbed for the row.

James - I'm assuming that you mean the shirts.

Great news...got news from LifeAsRx this morning...the shirts are being shipped out TODAY. I can't guarantee that they will be delivered prior to Friday, though. This may be close...

31:58 Rx'd....I'm NOT so ok with Annie....she broke me off this morning....the weights were not the issue it was the ten-thousand squats that did me in....

Dave I'm on the road this weekend...if they come in prior to 1400 on Thursday let me know...if not I'll get them on Tues...

Tanker Steve is not okay after the beating he took this morning. I started at RX weight, but went down after the first set. 25:46 for the final time. I just lost steam on the final set. Form followed. This was a good WOD, but I should have focused more on form then intensity during the final set. Body is going to pay for that decision.

Thanks to Dave for the quick QAQC during the SDHP.

See y'all on Tuesday.

I missed working out with everyone this morning; had to get the wife and boy on the road. I did the WOD as rx'd this afternoon 13:57. Pukey the clown was in the neighborhood, fortunately he did not stop by.

17:10 as Rx'd; I was able to row on all three rounds

My youngest had a great time Sautrday. He wore his t-shirt all day yesterday (except to church) and insisted on wearing it today. It had a few stains and smudges on it and looked like it had been used, but I was all for him wearing it. I helped him and his older sister get out the door today as their mother was pre-occupied and so he wore the shirt to school; stains and all. I'm on my way home now and I'm sure there will be hell to pay from 'mama', but he loves that shirt and I thought he should wear it today...if I have any 'butt' left I'll see you all in the morning!

19:13 as RXd. I guess I'm glad that Annie is OK....cause I'm not. That sucked!

To everyone that put together the games on Saturday, thank you from Julie and I and the kids. It was a great time, and I'm sorry that Julie and Lydia didn't get to come. I'm humbled by all of you and your dedication to this community of athletes that we have. It was a blast, and I can't wait to do it again next year!!
