Can I get more explanation for the WOD, I did not understand well, please

16:17 as Rx'd.

Whoever put the round of 18 on the board in the bubble is a very bad man. After seeing the website last nite I was not mentally prepared for 18 extra thrusters.

Noah, I agree. I even asked James if the numbers were right as he was coaching someone up at the white board and I thought perhaps he had written there as part of the lesson. This is the second day in a row that I showed up and the workout was not what I anticipated, so I feel good about being ready for the "unknown and the unknowable."

I scaled to 75# and finished in 8:24.

Wilson caught me slacking this morning; I'll do a double-WOD this afternoon (yesterday's and today's). Also doing German Armed Forces Badge testing this week.

My husband will pick up the IMCF Games t-shirts today, so if anyone wants them earlier than Saturday, please let me know. Thank you!

whoops - unknown and unknowable !!! 5.18 Rxed

Sorry Noah and Gary - it wasn't on purpose honestly.

Zoran - do 15 reps of OHS and 15 reps of CrossFit standard Pushups then 12 of each then 9 etc.

Kay - what were you doing? sunbaking? smelling the flowers?

I think its great James. Maybe you can do it the rest of the week and make this "unknown and unknowable week." Its sort of like the days in the winter when the heat would be broken and everyone wore their sweats.

New PR for consecutive DU of 7 this morning, also worked on handstands with the METAL HEAD!!!!!!

Kay I would like to get mine earlier if possible.

4:30 as RX'd in on the bubble board. Kay, I wasn't trying to punk you out, just wanted you to know you were missed at the bubble. That said, good on you if you are doing a double WOD and the German thing...

I'm an idiot...after reading everyone's posts I realized I did thrusters instead of OHS. Never mind the unknown and unknowable, this prepared me for the unintelligent.

5:56 as Rx'd; everything unbroken, just slower than I wanted

Gary - I do remember mornings w/o heat in the bubble, especially the day we did 'three bars of death' commonly known as Linda. We did it as a buddy WOD and both Neal and I stripped down to shirt and shorts, but we wore gloves because the bars were so cold that skin was sticking to the bars. Conversely, I can hardly wait until we get the other extreme when the AC goes out this summer; pools of sweat will fill the floor! It's going to be awesome.

Scaled to 75#. 5:11. Form was pretty good...Matt H was watching and coaching. Thanks Matt! I did some post-wod Goat Skinning....and worked on OHS since I was warmed up. I moved up to 3 reps of 115 (PR). I think I could have 1RM at 120-125. Thanks Elizabeth for the coaching/ encouragement.

PR by using 65lbs on the OHS. So stoked. 6:41.

Kay...can I get mine early?

Okay, so I did a double-WOD today. First I did today's WOD with the OHS: 5:58 as Rx'D. Yesterday's WOD at 12 minutes, with 24" box.

My husband forgot to pick up the shirts for the IMCF Games, so he owes me 20 burpees; he will get them tomorrow. They are $7 each; I don't think there's tax.

Went late today...did 4:51 Rxd. Was able to do the OHS rounds of 15, 12, 6, and 3 unbroken, very happy with that. Not so happy with the 6/3 break in the round of 9. Didn't need to do it...got the "I'm on a good pace, I should break here" thoughts in my head.

Big shoutout to Eric K., another new guy from the weekend, on his first day this morning, and Eric (?), one of the LTC's here for the PCC, second afternoon after also joining us on Saturday.

To all of the new folks: we also welcome you to post on the board. Everyone likes hearing/reading about improvements.

11:18...scaled to 85# in the middle of the round of 15. Needless to say, lots of work left for me on OHS.

Thanks for the coaching, Dave...(and thanks for smokin me, Bryan).

Big Shout out to Neal today. He has a shoulder injury and still is able to gut it out. Most people would just give up, that is almost Tanker tough worthy, nice job RANGER!!!

james said...

so did all the morning crew do 18 -15 etc or did some give the website precedence?

Scott said...

6:09. At 65#. Man is my form bad on OHS. Hip flexors still taxed from sprinting and long jump.

Gary said...

James, I did the 18 if that wasn't clear in my comments. I think if it had been just 15 I would have tried to go Rx'd.
