FRIDAY 111210

For time:

Off the rack, either 15 x 185 lb Push Jerks or 25 x 155 lb Push Jerks or 35 x 135 lb Push jerks*

Rest 3 minutes

Then three rounds for time:

7 Turkish Get Ups @ 55 (each arm - 14 in total per round)
Crab Walk 150ft (1/2 length of gym and back)

Rest 3 minutes

Then AMRAP (As Many Round As Possible) 7 minutes

Bear Crawl 150 ft (1/2 length of gym and back)
11 pullups

Post highest load, times and rounds to comments.

* These weights are not scaling weights, they are the rxed weight - you just have options for how you go about the WOD. If you need to scale because your one rep max is say 135 lb then your options would be 15 reps @ 115 or 25 reps at @75 or 35 reps @ 45lb.

Glassman says “Combat requires an ability to perform well at all tasks, even unfamiliar tasks, tasks combined in infinitely varying combinations. In practice this encourages the athlete [soldier] to disinvest in any set notions of sets, rest periods, reps, exercises, order of exercises, routines, periodization, etc.”

ugly - total time including rest and AMRAP 31:52. Did the 185 option and 6 rounds in the AMRAP. I did enjoy racing Rob when he was a crab and I was a bear - not something you see in the wild everyday.

about 34:00; I hit the stop button on my watch during TGU but estimate starting about 2min behind the main group; 7rds on AMRAP

I'll admit that I was not going to let James to catch me while I was crab-walking; James' description is interesting though, he makes it sound like something from the Wiggles, Sesame Street, or something like that, but unfortunately the only thing I had in common with those little kiddies was that I wanted to cry! Great WOD and I need the weekend to recover

went with the 185 option, hit muscle failure at 6 reps, then went down to 165 and finished in 4:01.
17:02 for rd 2; scaled TGU to 35# for rd 1 and 20# for 2 and 3
completed 4 rounds and a bear crawl in 7 min
total time just over 34 minutes of fun

Total time was 33:20. I went with the 25x 155# PJ option and then scaled the TGUs to 35# (my form was terrible). I did 6 rounds plus bear crawl and a couple pull-ups on the AMRAP. Can't wait til Monday, James...I'm sure it's gonna be a doozy.
