I think I am going to come and try my hand at 125; may not do the full 30, but would like the practice and any coaching on form from those around.

rx 7:10 but that is only an estimate due to watch issues....

also did bench press with neal @ 185 10,8,6,4,2 then max reps at 135 (8?).

Based on my intermittent articipation of late, I had to scale more than I would have otherwise. 95#: 6:32 Not getting under the bar again.

4:02 as rx'd. The first ten reps seemed relatively easy, but the last ten...wow. James made a great point. You can probably afford to use poor form (and be inefficient) on the first few, but you're really gonna pay for it on the last ten or so (cause you've wasted so much energy being inefficient early on). That's what I did this morning. Makes me wanna do it again and focus more on form rather than "grippin and rippin" it like I did. My first ten would've been a lot slower but I wonder how it would've impacted my overall time? Thanks for the coaching, James.

Did not do Grace today as I'm a little tight from Friday still in the lower back. Did some other fun things around the gym instead, muscle ups, rowing, and a lot of stretching. For anyone interested, the Marine element is doing the Combat Fitness Test on Wed at 1330 at the pull up bars down by the airfield. Boots and utes...800m run for time, 30 lb ammo can lifts for time (push press or shoulder press type movement)and a maneuver under fire (think a lot of crawling, sprinting, buddy carrying, even a grenade toss). Good old fashioned Marine Corps fun!

5:01 at 115#; been trying to wrap my head around the idea of scaling to keep up intensity. It's working, but hard to get used to mentally.

James, On Tuesdays (and Wednesdays) I am on base for night class until 2130 so I do not make the gym in the morning, I do it in the afternoons instead. Can we meet up on Thursday morning at 6?

Noah - perfect for me - see you on Thursday.
