FRIDAY 100810

"Angie"

For time:

100 pullups
100 pushups (CTDRHAB)*
100 situps
100 squats

Straight after we finish Angie I am going to rehearse my mobility/recovery lesson for next week if anyone wants to hang around. It should take about 10 minutes.

* CTDRHAB = Chest To Deck Release the Hands At the Bottom which is the CrossFit standard for pushups.

we could phil but its just a little too easy to take shortcuts in the army ones ...

very true. if you're new to this workout, you must complete the reps for that exercise before moving to the next.

25:56;

Going sequential through the events vice sets of all four definitely made it harder

26:41-- Strongest pullup performance to date. I had to eventually go to band assist as is usually the case for me, but I went further into the workout without it than ever before. Very motivating.

got to do the wod with my wife, which was fun. Jen scaled it, but i forgot her time.
me, rx'd: 18:07. would've been a PR if it weren't for those new-fangled crossfit pushups! i was suffering! that's okay, it's good for me and kept me from cheating on form.

rx'd @ 17:43. Phil, was working hard to beat your time... Thought it was no prob. after pull ups, but I think push ups took more overall time.

New push ups are as cool as new coke.

23:54 rxed - morning crew was on the slow track by the looks of things ....I am hoping it was the abmat situps that killed our times.

22:05; CTDRHAB push ups are the way to go; there are a few small groups (3-5) starting to form on their own between 0530 - 0700; this is awesome to see as working with a group 1) makes you accountable to show up, 2)helps you get through the tough times, 3) provides coaching from different people's strengths, and 4) a whole bunch of other good reasons I can't think of now; keep encouraging your friends to come out; in our small group we have 3 new guys that just started showing up and we've included them; anyone is always welcome with our 0515 group; have a great weekend
