IMCF - Watched the video of FGB. The new bubble gym looks awesome!!! Makes me wish I was back there enjoying another of the best years of me life. Keep up the awesome work. Hope I get to make it back through there one day.

OHS are getting better, but still a weak link

22:58 w/ 75lbs

my heaviest weight thus far on OHS---starting to feel more comfortable on a very uncomfortable lift.

then did 10-6 bench (175, 175, 165, 165, 165), strict pull ups w/ neal

16:30 rxed. I hate the rower - I hear that the UN commission for human rights is going to ban them.

19:15...scaled to 65# OHS for rounds 2-5. Wow, OHS are definitely my biggest goat. Really gotta work these more.

16:41 as Rx'd; for me regular nancy eclipses pirate nancy; when we did regular nancy at the police academy, on every lap it took the first 200m to feel like I wasn't going to fall over, then I was able to turn the last 200m into a painful-sluggish dwadle!

FGB5 - official announcements for IMCF participation in FGB5 are out; on-line donation registration is very easy; the only solicitation you have to do is 'craft' an e-mail to your contact list and if they choose, they can donate on line; you never have to ask them (or be turned down) face to face; everything is on-line

George is in the lead so far for IMCF money raised; we are trying to make it a family event this year; you are encouraged to bring your families and any friends that might be interested in functional fitness to either watch or do the WOD

check out the posters at L & C, library, the gyms, and our website

That Pirate Nancy was a good one. 12:20 was a bit unusual but I was able to maintain a row of 1:53 per 500.

I have to agree...Pirate Nancy is one tough beeach!

19:25

I did a good, long warm up and threw 65# on the bar. I did a couple of OHS and it didn't feel quite right...I struggled with form and mid-line stability. So I scaled to 45# but ended up doing each set of 15 unbroken...hmmm. Wonder how this one would have been if I'd stayed at the RX weight? Guess I find out next time Nancy comes out of the hopper...
