"Easy" Mary

As many rounds as possible (AMRAP) in 20 minutes of:

5 Handstand pushups (HSPU)
10 pullups
25 squats

subbed Cindy (20 min AMRAP 5pullup, 10 pushup, 15 sqt) instead
got stopped by the gym police for using the pullup bars at 10 rds in 8:55
interestingly tidbit the pullup bars are now unsafe, but they move less than they did in the old building

We had to substitute for pull ups. So we hung a bar from the racks and did a row variation. 8 rds in 20min. Shoulders and tri's are destroyed from Monday.

I spoke to Aaron Jones today about the pull up racks. The engineers had promised last Monday at noon for completion. He does not know why they were not bolted down, or the completion date. The racks are stable enough without the bolts securing them to the floor, but we are concerned that they may damage the rubber matting. Be patient. Meanwhile I hung two sets of rings from the support beams for pullups.

I did a lot of HSPU's yesterday, so I did Monday's workout today, rx 31:16. Rowing was no problem. The benching however...

Recommend everyone get their rollers and balls out and really work the thoracic spine. I've gained a new range of motion that really helps with correct form and thereby less metabolic cost in high loads and metabolic efforts. Catch me in the gym and I'll show you what I mean.

Mary is not easy...
I did ring pull-ups.
I got 6 rounds plus 5 HSPU plus 7 pull-ups.

I had today what COL Monroe calls Delayed Onset of Muscle Soreness due to doing Monday's WOD yesterday (BP x 10). Thought about trying today's WOD, working on pushups but shoulders and arms still very sore, so squats sounded much better.

7 rnds with Josh D. Used the rubber bands on the last two sets of HSP...good for intensity when the mm are smoked!
