THURSDAY 100722

With a continuously running clock run one mile, stopping for 20 pushups at the top of each minute.

Post total time and number of pushups to comments.

14 rounds, then the palm opened up. Did this at Julian field, Park University. Hot and sweaty. FInished with 6 100m stride-outs barefoot on the grass.

Went to COSTCO the other day, great source for wild caught and organic stuff, much better food and easy on the budget.

9:50, 200 pushups
then i ran a mile for time after a 5 minute rest at 7:52

I ran a mile warmup, then did the workout, and a mile cooldown.

This is one of those dangerous WOD's that "doesn't look that bad". I did the 1st 1200m as Rx'd, then transitioned to situps for the last 400m. I screwed up the watch, so I didn't get the time. If I counted right, ~180 pushups, and 60 situps.

30 x body weight bench then 5min of farmers carry. Got 12 rounds in on the farmers carry (walk from first row machine to north end of gym and back).

Then CFE run workout of 1 mile time trial. Time of 5:27

This kicked my @ss...
It was wicked hot when I hit the track at 1300. I had to switch back and forth between 20 pushups and 20 situps after the first 5 minutes. I didn't read "puke at the top of the 10th minute" but I sure felt like it! The 20 reps took me about 25-30 seconds, which obviously doesn't leave a lot of time for running until the top of the next minute!

A true butt kicker. I had to suck up my pride and conduct pushups on my knees for the last three sets. So, I ran an additional .25 miles and performed 20 extra pushups. Total time for all 20:00. I think next time I will perform this WOD during the early morning hours :).

16:13, dropped the push ups to 15 instead of the prescribed 20 to start then to 10 after 5 sets. Had to skip a set or two right at the end, it took the whole min to get 10 push ups done in good form. ~140 pushups

Finished with 8x100m sprints

Wetn for an MRI today, fractured femur. THat was one bad ass bike wreck.
Anyway, did 20 lunges, 20 push ups, 3 rounds, then swam 400 m.
Looks like I may have to take it easy for a while.
