'Play of the Day' goes to George Coleman and family. We ran the MWR Army Birthday 5km run in a torrential downpour complete with close proximity thunder and lightening! George pushed his two daughters through it in a double stroller. Both girls were soaked but in good spirits at the end and still having fun.

My time was 22:10 and my son was 21:55.

Had a good run in the rain as Rob mentioned. The girls were a little damp, but had a good time. I ran a 27:42, but my garmin showed the course a little short at only 2.9 miles. Not a bad morning.

I'm playing around with the beyond the whiteboard system learning some of the tricks of the trade on there, so for those of you who use it, you might see a few odd workouts up there for a little bit until I get the hang of it.

I missed the last Murph so I made that up today. 46:32 (done in 4 rounds of 800m run, 25 pullups, 50 pushups, and 75 squats). Only 45 sec improvement from last September but rx'd movements this time and done in less rounds. It was warm this afternoon!

Deep down I must have felt like I did something to deserve doing it by myself.

I made up the 2 mile run with the Country Club Plaza Dog-n-jog. What a great event.
