FRIDAY 100528

For time:

20 Thrusters (95#)
20 Sumo Deadlift Highpulls (SDHP) (95#)
20 Push Jerks (PJ) (95#)
20 Over Head Squats (OHS) (95#)
20 Front Squats (95#)

Complete 4 burpees at the start of each minute (INCLUDING THE FIRST MINUTE) until the reps are complete. Enjoy! This one will hurt.

OHS were the most challenging. I broke these up in 3 sets (12 x burpees!). Getting through all 20 x thrusters in the first minute was helpful. Thanks for a great push this morning from Mike, Ryan, George, and Travis

19:52 as Rxed. Thrusters sucked and it was kind of downhill from there.

Sorry I missed everyone at 0530 (I slept in). I definitely could have used some external motivation this morning.

I did Angie today. 20:01 Rxd.
Last Angie was 8 months ago (done 3 weeks after starting CF) and I did it in 32:26 with 75% scaled pullups.

Still need to do Murph, CF Total, and Fran before I leave.

Good job CL on the pt test.

Yesterday's edition of the post newspaper has pictures of Jeff and CL from the Iron Major Comp. Ryan and Mike can also be seen in the background. I'm glad our guys were in the pictures since CF-ers easily accounted for over half of the participants.

I love burpees.

Came back and went for a 5k run with the family, so a light jog in 33ish minutes.

Finished the morning off right with a breakfast of fresh cinnamon rolls.

Made up Wednesday's and Thursday's WODs
- Started with Burgener warm-up (multiple iterations)
- Snatch:
- 95, 105, 115, 125, 135 (f), 135, 140 (f), 140 (f)
- Technique improving, still needs work, much
better after the olympic lifting class
- METCON = 21-15-9 of SDLHP (95#) and ring dips
- Time = 3:45 as rx'd

When I saw the picture, my first thought was "Do I really make that face when I do pull-ups?" (ok, obvious answer there with photographic evidence). I still have not achieved angry caveman face status with Nick though. . .

Am a little behind, but am catching up slowly this week. Movers, Holiday, etc. This may be a little late for 10-01, but if anyone is interested in canoe/kayak type trips, check out the Buffalo River in N. Arkansas. Only about 4 hours away and a great time with lots of affordable options.
