Shoulder Press Progression

3-3-3-3-3-3-3 (at 85% 1RM)

These are sets across, so build to 85% of 1RM, then execute the sets.

85%1RM = 102, so I counted any effort > 102.
105-115(2)-105-110-115-115(2)-105
(3RM=115)

Have been working POSE running technique since Brian's class.
On APFT this morning I cut my last run time by 20 sec and felt good.
Thanks for teaching the POSE class Brian.

Warmed up with 30 bench jumps, some jump rope, Burgener warm up, 25 squats, MU transitions from sitting.
Snatch practice up to 95lb.
WOD: Worked from 95 to 120 in 5 lb increments, last two sets at 120.

135 across...watching Mr. Monroe motivated me, so then I did:

10 20# Med Ball Clean
30 sec. hold in ring plank push-up position

1st set 125, last 135, the rest 130
Then I did the CFE WOD, took just over 30 min.

failed on the 3rd rep of sets 4, 6, 7 so finished last rep with push press

Then did weighted pull-ups

5x3 @ 55lbs

Ended up having to push press the 3rd rep at 135 each time.

135lb for all sets, I failed on #3 of set 7

Did the Burgener warm-up and skill transfer exercises. I used PVC. I saw a few people on You Tube progressing to barbell for the same exercises. I want to eventually get to that, but will stick with PVC for the near future.

I worked DUs. I did 5 sets of 10 with a 30 second break between each round. Then I strung 28 in a row before a miss. I bought a $12 weighted rope three months agon and it's made all the difference. Before the rope I couldn't string more than 5 to 7.

Worked double unders in the warm-up for 10-15 minutes - these are still my nemesis. Max of 5 strung together.

Combined Tues/Wed WODs - mistake.
Tues WOD - OHS = 95-115-135-135-135
Burpees - 8:06 (added some time from my last)

115 across....that was 75% 1RM of 145
Made mistake should have noted 85%.
