SATURDAY AND SUNDAY

Rest, Make up WODs, do what you do, and do it better. If there's obstacles in your way, you could always do this.

After my PFT this Friday, I have another "Crossfit Works" testimonial...I started CF this last Aug as a complete newbie. I had been playing with weight training and running for years and thought I was in good shape, until the foundations class tabata squats disabled me for a week. I started CF this last Aug, and had an AFPFT around that same time to serve as a benchmark. The AFPFT is Pushups (AMAP 1 min), Crunches (AMAP 1 min), and 1.5 run. After nine months of CF, here is the impact w/rt PFT scores: No change in Pushups/Crunches (50), but they haven’t been a problem. The run was interesting however: Did it in 11:22 last Sep, this Friday did it in 10:13…improvement of 1:09, with NO RUNNING other than what was in the WODs (as matter of fact, skipped or sub-ed a couple of runs). So, this stuff works in surprising ways, I can even get 2-3 MUs now, looking forward to doing a “as RXed” MU WOD!
