for time...

20, 15, 10, 5 reps of
KB swing, clean, press, and snatch (35# KB)

execute this one in sequence. So, do your 20 KB swings, 20 cleans, 20 presses (10/arm), etc..then 15 reps...

Post time to comments. Enjoy!

As Rxed: 12:21.

I found this one difficult to really push myself due to the natural period swing of the kettlebell. I was able to go almost straight through, only putting ht eKB down to switch hands in most cases.

8:50 (I think as RXd...)

Not sure if I interpreted this one right, but I split reps for cleans, presses, & snatches between left and right arms for the total of that round. I second guessed this, so I did an extra round of 10 per arm cleans, presses, and snatches.

Then ran about 3.6km home.

I'm pretty sure I did this one wrong. I ended up doing the prescribed # of reps on each arm. Not because I thought this was right but because I'm stupid. 19:33

Did what I thought was "Hell's Bells":
10 min AMRAP
5 x 155lbs p-clean
10 pull-ups

completed 6 rounds + 3 cleans

Not sure I did it right and as mentioned previously, the limiting factor was not fatigue but instead it was the technical execution of the exercise

26:32. I also did prescibed # of reps per arm.

At 0830 on Thur, I will have a repeat session on how to do the pose drills for anyone who is interested.
I have attempted to boil down the most important elements of a 2 day CrossFit Endurance cert into an hour of instruction. Let me know if you plan to attend so I can make sure I have enough handouts.

Did this with Nick and OB...we decided to do this one this way: 20 KBS, 20 Cleans (each arm), 20 presses (each arm), 20 snatches (each arm), etc...

I won the bronze medal in our three man game...

- First time for me doing KB cleans and snatches. Tried to concentrate on form. I think that is the hardest I've worked without moving my feet.

I did it the same way as OB and the boys (rx'd # reps per arm), since I got in there right after they did it.

Once again, my wife beat me by more than a minute....

There is now a test in the Level 1 Cert. http://www.regonline.com/builder/site/tab1.aspx?EventID=807717
This test also impacts those of us who already have Level 1 Certs. Read the info on the link.

Did this with JOB and Upty. as Rx'ed and as upty described.. 16:41

I am already a Level 1 CrossFit Trainer; do I need to take the test?
FROM THE FAQ that JOB posted::

Yes. Everyone will be required to pass the test by Dec 31, 2011 in order to keep a Level 1 Trainer Certificate current.

-----

Wonder if they would come out and give us all the test.. or if we could sit in on this cert???

Anybody know if we can sign up to take our Level I test next week at the Lvl I cert? If we can, is anyone planning on doing that?

J. O'B said...

Glen,
I'm leaning toward taking it next week just to get it knocked out. From what I read, you register on-line for the Level 1 but click on the "test only" option.

craigrr said...

Brian, I will be there.

C.L. said...

According to the website, you can take the test for free once if you got your Level I prior to April 2010.
