Iron Major Olympic Lifting Cert Scholarships!

We have some exciting news in the Iron Major CrossFit community. CGSC generously offered to pay for FIVE scholarship slots for the upcoming Olympic Lifting Certification training (April 17-18). Of those available slots, two are reserved for Class 10-02 personnel. This is an awesome opportunity to receive training from a world-class Olympic Lifting Coach, Mike Burgener, and his fellow trainers.

If you are interested, send a short essay (no more than one page) to MAJ Phil Brown by COB next Wednesday, 10 March, 2010, answering the following question:

Based on your experiences, why is attending the Olympic Lifting certification training important to you and the Army?

On the same document, but not part 0f the essay, please answer the following questions:
1) How long have you been doing CrossFit?
2) Are you CrossFit Level I qualified and/or have you attended any other specialty certifications?
3) Have you participated as a trainer or participant in any of the Iron Major CrossFit foundations classes?
4) What is your experience with the Olympic Lifts?
5) How much time do you have remaining at Fort Leavenworth?
6) Provide the following demographic information: age, sex, position on post (faculty, student at CGSC, SAMS, etc.)

For administrative purposes, please place your name and AKO address in the header of your esssay.

Don't miss out on this awesome opportunity!
