TUESDAY 100105

10 rounds for time of:

3 weighted pull-ups (45lbs)
5 strict pull-ups
7 kipping pull-ups

* For weighted pull-ups place a 45 pound dumbbell/plate between the legs above crossed ankles and drop the dumbbell after third rep and continue with strict pull-ups and then the kipping pull-ups. Coming off the bar or going to ground constitutes a termination of a round and that round does not count.

** Scale this one as needed - reduce the weight for the weighted pull-ups, count broken rounds, use the bands.

*** Do 100 pull-ups for time if you don't have any weighted pull-ups.

7's Full from Monday- 16:17 with 115' scaled on the squats. Then 5K row in 13:50 for METCON.

One diet note: Instead of buying deli lunchmeat with all the preservatives and salt at $7 a pound, we've started cooking up a 7-8 lb turkey breast for the week. doesn't last as long, but then again, anything meant to last is usually junk right?

rds 6-10 used 35lbs (1 break in each round after 2-3 straight pull ups)

Used a 20 lb kettlebell for all rounds. Counted broked sets. Ripped callus off of hand =( Time 39:20. Thanks to JOB for motivation! What do yall suggest for callus injuries / care for calluses to prevent them in the future?

Used 20#KB for rnds 1-5 then 15#KB for rnds 6-10. All rnds were broken except first one.

23:48...rx'd on weight but only 1st rd was unbroken. After that, weighted pull-ups were either 1 or 2 at a time, and strict and kipping pull-ups were 3 or 4 at a time. Once I saw that flowing straight through the rep scheme would be impossible, I took long enough breaks to just be able to knock out the next few reps.

Did rounds 1 & 2 with 35lb KB. Broke sets after round 1.
Dropped weight to 20lb KB for rds 3-9
No weight and blue band on rd 10

first two rds w/ 35# KB, 3,4th w/ 20# KB, and was no longer capable of any pullup other than kipping. Continued kipping till rep 87 and ripped a callus. Finished w/ bands. Not proud. 12:03

First 3 rounds unbroken with 35#KB. After that had to reduce to 15# KB for another 4 broken rounds. After that 8 strict pull-ups.
Ripped a few calluses!

- scaled weight to 25#
- broken sets began with rnd 3
- dropped weight completely during round 8 when callous issues reduced me to finger tip kipping pulling ups for rest of 8,9, & 10.

I did 100 pullups in sets of 5. Did not record time.
