WEDNESDAY 091223

100 Cauldron squats with 55# KB for time. A cauldron squat is essentially a front squat holding the KB in the front rack position by the KB handle.

Enjoy. Post time for comment.

Is that a 55# KB in each hand, or is it both hands holding one KB?

5:40 w/ (1) 55# KB
I hope that's as RX'd. Anyone who does these with 2 KBs ain't human.

For those on leave, the additional equipment came yesterday. 2 GHDs, 4 barbell storage racks, 4 benches, 4 blue bands, 4 green bands, 4 ring sets, 20 jumpropes, 4 KBs 35#, and 2 KBs 55#. Unfortunately no rowers but still a good haul.

I read as 1 55# too.
Did not have 55#kb, so sub'd 55# bar. 6:38

I apologize for the confusion, it is holding one 55#KB with both hands, in the rack position.

5:25 as rx'd (this hurt after the air squats from yesterday)

Also worked on muscle-ups (about 20% successful). I did better when I was a little tired and had to focus on the form.

Worked out at CrossFit CFT in Nashville today. It is a relatively new affiliate. Great coach/owner and good crew for the 1200 session.

then..

tabata
squats
sit-ups
burpees

I liked the way they did the tabata workout, instead of doing 8rds straight with each exercise, every 20 sec you rotated exercises. Definately a different stimlus.
